Playing catch up.

I'm catching up on appointments that had been previously rained out, finally.   My schedule seems to be swamped, however at the end of an exhausting day I can't think of how I spent all those hours.  My house is far from spic and span, the flower bed needs weeding, the lawn needs tlc, the car needs washing, etc., etc.  The business of photography takes longer than ever before.   Years ago, the digital camera was supposed to make our work flow faster and easier.... NOT.  Instead of shooting and turning a roll of film into the lab to let them do the work, I now do all of the work the lab did except for printing.   After a session the pictures have to be made into printable images,tic toc tic toc,  retouching needs to be done along with some minor enhancing, tic toc tic toc, from there most of them are placed into online albums, tic toc tic toc, then when the orders are placed I give the images a final look over, tic toc tic toc, and order them thru one of my labs, tic toc tic toc. When they're done and delivered here I check the order, tic toc tic toc and wrap everything pretty, tic toc tic toc. I should also mention there is the accounting, the marketing, the sales and general business that are part of the solo act daily as well!  Oh my gosh, I'm exhausted.  My plan for tomorrow is to start afresh, my plan for the next 6 months is to do so much business I can afford to hire some help:)  My goal for a year from now is ... a secret for now ;)
